Job summary

Altus Learning in India is seeking an HR Generalist to manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and HR operations. The role requires coordinating with department heads to capture hiring needs and ensuring a smooth joining experience for new hires.

The candidate should have 5–10 years of HR experience, strong knowledge of labor laws, and an MBA/PGDM in HR. You will maintain HR records, implement policies, and support payroll and compliance activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.
• 5-10 years of HR experience with exposure to recruitment and HR operations.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from manpower planning to onboarding.
• Coordinate with department heads to understand hiring requirements.
• Source candidates through job portals, social media, referrals, and recruitment agencies.
• Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and facilitate final selection.
• Negotiate offers and manage the joining process.
• Maintain recruitment reports and hiring metrics.

Onboarding & Employee Orientation

• Ensure smooth onboarding for new hires.
• Conduct induction and orientation programs.
• Complete joining formalities, documentation, and employee records.
• Coordinate with departments for workstation, IT access, and training requirements.
• Support new employees during the probation period.

HR Operations & Generalist Functions

• Maintain employee databases and HR documentation.
• Implement and communicate HR policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements.
• Maintain HR MIS, reports, and employee records.
• Coordinate performance appraisal processes.
• Identify training and development needs.
• Assist in creating learning and development programs.
• Support audits and statutory compliance activities.
• Generate recruitment, attrition, and workforce analytics reports.

Employee Relations & Engagement

• Address employee concerns and grievances.
• Promote a positive work culture and employee engagement initiatives.
• Organize employee events, recognition programs, and wellness activities.
• Support conflict resolution and disciplinary processes.

Qualifications
