Job summary

Zippee is seeking an on-ground Recruiter to handle manpower recruitment across Kochi, Kerala. You will hire frontline roles including pickers, packers and delivery riders, traveling locally to sources and drives. You will build networks, coordinate with stores and central ops, and manage joining formalities.

The role is field-based, involves local travel, and targets meeting manpower requirements in a fast-growing quick-commerce startup.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of field/bulk hiring experience.
• Strong local candidate network.
• Excellent communication and convincing skills.
• Able to work against hiring targets.
• Knowledge of ecommerce/logistics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Source manpower through field activities and calls.
• Visit locations and conduct on-ground hiring of pickers/packers and riders.
• Build and maintain local recruitment networks for steady supply.
• Source candidates via field drives, bulk drives, local referrals, job portals and social media.
• Coordinate with store teams and central ops for planning.
• Manage documentation and joining formalities.
• Reduce attrition through clear briefing and follow-up.

Job Description:

• Zippee is looking for a talented & experienced Recruiter to handle on-ground Manpower recruitment across Kochi.
• Incredible yet challenging opportunity to work at a high-growth Quick Commerce startup to drive meaningful impact.
• You will be responsible for hiring frontline manpower, including picker packers, delivery riders, and various dark store positions.
• The role involves field sourcing, bulk hiring, and coordinating walk-in drives to fulfill on-ground manpower requirements.
• This is a FIELD/ON-GROUND role that will involve travelling locally in Kochi Kerala.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manpower sourcing through field activities & calling.
• Visiting locations and conducting on-ground hiring Picker & Packers.
• Building strong local networks for continuous manpower supply.
• Source candidates through field visits, bulk hiring drives, local references, job portals, and social media (Job Hai, Apna, etc).
• Coordinate with Store teams and Central Ops teams for manpower planning.
• Manage documentation and joining formalities.
• Reduce attrition by proper candidate briefing and follow-up.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 Years of Experience in field/bulk hiring/supply.
• Strong local candidate network.
• Good communication and convincing skills.
• Ability to work under hiring targets.
• Knowledge of E-commerce/Logistics/Quick Commerce structure preferred.
