Job summary

Zippee, based in Pune, seeks an Operations Executive - Dark Store Operations to oversee 2-hour and same-day delivery across our dark stores near Viman Nagar. This in-person role requires ownership, hands-on leadership, and a bias for speed in a fast-growing quick-commerce environment.

You will collaborate with D2C/Marketplace brands, ensure SLA adherence, manage inventory, and drive profitable scale through a capable dark-store team.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of Operations/Supply Chain Management experience in Quick Commerce/Ecommerce warehousing/logistics.
• Team management and stakeholder management experience is required.
• Owner mindset; seller-doer approach and independent decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 2-Hour/Same-Day Delivery Operations across dark stores in Pune.
• Collaborate with Zippee customers (D2C/Marketplaces) to support growth.
• Ensure 100% success rate in same-day fulfillment and adhere to SLAs (inbound, inventory, outbound, staffing, training, vendor partnerships, COD).
• Hire, manage & motivate dark store teams (inventory controllers, pickers, packers, captains, riders).
• Weekly inventory audits, COD reconciliation, MIS reporting to management.
• Foster rockstar culture to scale profitability.

Job Description

• We're looking for a talented Operations Executive - Dark Store Operations in Pune.
• Incredible opportunity to work in the Operations team at a high-growth quick commerce startup to drive meaningful impact. • This is an in-person role at our dark store, and you must be based near Viman Nagar, Pune.

Role & Responsibilities

• Oversee 2-Hour/Same-Day Delivery Operations (Inbound, Outbound, Inventory Management, etc) across our dark stores in Pune.
• Work closely with Zippee customers (D2C/Marketplaces/E-Commerce Brands) and support them in expansion/growth.
• Ensure 100% success rate in Same-Day Fulfillment & adhere to dark store SLAs such as inbound, inventory management, outbound, manpower planning, rostering, training, employee engagement, vendor partnerships, COD management.
• Hire, manage & motivate the dark store team (inventory controllers, pickers, packers, store captains, and delivery riders).
• Weekly inventory audits, COD reconciliation, hiring, & MIS reporting to Management.
• Help create a rockstar culture amongst the team to scale to profitability.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of Operations/Supply Chain Management experience at Quick Commerce/Ecommerce warehousing/logistics companies.
• Team management, stakeholder management, & independent decision-making experience are a must.
• Must have an owner's mindset. We are looking for owners, not employees.
