Job summary

Padmavati Chains And Jewels in Navi Mumbai (Turbhe, factory) is seeking an Executive / Sr. Executive – HR & Payroll with 3–5 years of factory experience. The role covers end-to-end payroll processing, compliance under PF/ESIC/Tax, recruitment, contractor management and HR activities.

Working days are Mon-Sat, with a 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM shift. The incumbent will manage payroll for staff, workers and contract labour while ensuring statutory adherence and smooth HR operations on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• End-to-end monthly payroll for staff, workers and contract labour including attendance, OT, leaves and deductions.
• PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, Bonus and Gratuity calculations, challan filing and returns.
• Factories Act, Contract Labour Act and other statutory compliance responsibilities.
• Recruitment and onboarding of workmen, operators and staff; contractor management.

Responsibilities

• Payroll management and labour law compliance for factory workforce.
• HR administration including attendance, grievances, engagement and welfare activities.

Job Description Executive / Sr. Executive – HR & Payroll (Factory)

Location: Turbhe, Navi Mumbai (factory)
Experience: 3–5 years in factory / plant HR and payroll
Qualification: Graduate; MBA-HR / MPM / PGDM-HR preferred
Working Days: Monday to Saturday (6 days)
Timings: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM (adjustable as per factory shift needs)

Key Responsibilities

Payroll

• End-to-end monthly payroll for staff, workers and contract labour — attendance, OT, leave, incentives, deductions
• Maintain biometric / attendance records and shift-wise muster
• PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, LWF, Bonus, Gratuity — computation, challan and return filing
• TDS on salary coordination with accounts; Form 16 support
• Full & final settlement, salary revisions and payroll MIS

Factory HR

• Recruitment and onboarding of workmen, operators and staff
• Contractor management — licence, compliance documents, labour bill verification
• Statutory compliance under Factories Act, Contract Labour Act, Shops & Establishment, Minimum Wages
• Maintenance of statutory registers and records; support during labour / statutory inspections and audits
• Employee grievance handling, discipline, canteen / transport / uniform / safety coordination
• HR policy implementation, employee engagement and welfare activities

Required Skills

• Hands-on payroll processing knowledge and labour law compliance
• Working knowledge of payroll / HRMS software and strong MS Excel
• Good communication in Hindi / Marathi / English; ability to handle shop-floor workforce
