Job summary

Shadowfax Technologies is seeking a seasoned logistics professional to manage the daily operations of a last-mile hub in a fast-paced environment. You will oversee shipment sorting, allocation, dispatch, and delivery while coordinating with central operations to resolve issues and maintain service quality.

The role emphasizes leadership of riders/executives, maintenance of SLAs, and comprehensive operational reporting.

Qualifications

• 25 years of experience in logistics, courier, e-commerce, or last-mile delivery operations.
• Prior experience managing a delivery hub and a team of riders/delivery executives.
• Good knowledge of the local area and delivery routes in Tirupati.
• Strong understanding of shipment movement, rider allocation, delivery performance, and RTO management.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and operational reporting.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and team-management skills.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily last-mile hub operations, including shipment sorting, allocation, dispatch, and delivery.
• Monitor delivery performance, productivity, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
• Manage delivery executives/riders, including attendance, productivity, and rider availability.
• Ensure adequate rider deployment and maintain backup resources to meet daily delivery requirements.
• Track shipment status, pending deliveries, failed deliveries, and return-to-origin (RTO) shipments.
• Coordinate with central operations and other internal teams to resolve operational issues.
• Monitor KPIs and prepare daily operational reports.
• Handle customer escalations and ensure timely resolution of delivery-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety standards, and operational processes.
• Maintain hub discipline, operational records, and overall service quality.
