Job summary

Empower is seeking a driven HR Recruiter in Mumbai to manage end-to-end hiring. You will partner with the HOD to source quality talent, ensuring a smooth candidate experience from first contact to onboarding.

You will handle multi-role hiring, source via portals like Naukri/LinkedIn, screen resumes, conduct interviews, negotiate offers, and maintain hiring trackers to support a strong employer brand.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands-on recruitment experience.
• Preferably from a recruitment consultancy/staffing firm, or a pure hiring profile.
• Experience in closing positions within defined TATs and targets.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end recruitment: requirement understanding, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and closure.
• Partner with HOD to understand role requirements, skills, and hiring timelines.
• Source candidates through job portals (Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.), social media, referrals, and internal databases.
• Screen resumes and conduct telephonic/video interviews to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of active and passive candidates.
• Manage multiple open positions across functions/levels at the same time.
• Negotiate compensation and notice periods, and reduce offer drop-offs through regular follow-ups.
• Maintain accurate candidate data and hiring trackers.
• Share regular MIS and status updates on open positions, interviews, and closures.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience and strengthen employer branding.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques using various job portals.
• Experience in closing positions within defined TATs and targets
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to handle multiple requirements in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Graduate in any discipline (MBA-HR preferred, not mandatory) & preference for candidates who have worked for hiring requirements of Interior Designer Firm, comfortable to travel to Powai location in Mumbai & can work on multiple requirements at a time
• Experience in bulk non IT hiring
