Job summary

Stride India in Kolkata invites an experienced HR Manager to lead HR operations for a 24/7 ITes/BPO workforce. The role requires an MBA in HR or Master’s in Personnel Management/Industrial Relations and 3–7+ years of HR experience.

The successful candidate will manage high-volume recruitment, retention initiatives, shift rosters, and compliance across labor laws while collaborating with operations managers to optimize workforce effectiveness.

Qualifications

• MBA or Master's in HR related field required.
• 3-7+ years HR experience in a BPO/ITes setting preferred.
• Proven skills in mass recruitment and data analytics.
• Experience with HRIS/ATS and payroll tools.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end mass hiring for customer support, technical helpdesk, and process associate roles.
• Monitor turnover metrics and launch engagement activities and career progression paths.
• Oversee night shifts, transport logistics, safety compliance, and rostering policies.
• Handle grievances and resolve workplace conflicts in fast-paced environments.
• Coordinate induction, soft skills coaching, and compliance training with operations managers.
• Ensure adherence to labor laws and payroll/PF administration.

HR Manager – ITes Industry -Kolkata (Female Preferred) -

MBA in Human Resources or a Master's degree in Personnel Management / Industrial Relations.

Experience

3 to 7+ years of HR experience managing operations in a BPO or ITes setting.

Skills Required

• * Core Competencies: High-volume recruitment strategies, data analytics (tracking attrition, absenteeism, and cost-per-hire), labor law awareness, and manage employee engagement for a 24/7 workforce..
• * Technical Skills: Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems), ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems), and payroll management tools.
• * Have practical knowledge and experience working with HRMS platforms, payroll software, attendance systems, and employee databases.
• * Soft Skills: Active listening, empathy, crisis management, and strong cross-functional communication.

Job Resposibility

• * High-Volume Recruitment: Drive end-to-end mass hiring for customer support, technical helpdesk, and process associate roles using job portals and walk-in drives.
• * Attrition & Retention Management: Monitor turnover metrics and launch engagement activities, reward programs, and career progression paths to retain talent.
• * Shift & Rota Management: Oversee policies related to night shifts, transport logistics, safety compliance, and rostering standards.
• * Employee Relations: Handle grievances, conduct disciplinary actions, and resolve workplace conflicts in high-stress, fast-paced environments.
• * Training & Quality: Coordinate process-specific induction, soft skills coaching, and compliance training alongside operations managers.
• * Statutory Compliance: Ensure adherence to labor laws, shop establishment acts, night-shift safety regulations, and payroll / PF administration.

• Monday - Saturday : 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  Sunday: Closed
