We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented HR Manager to manage the complete HR function for an FMCG organization having both corporate office and manufacturing/factory operations. The role will be responsible for the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, employee engagement, performance management, HR operations, statutory compliance, employee relations, and factory HR activities.
HR Operations
- Manage end-to-end HR operations for corporate office and factory employees.
- Develop, implement and maintain HR policies, processes and SOPs.
- Manage employee lifecycle from joining to exit.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
- Handle employee queries and provide timely HR support.
- Monitor attendance, leave, shift schedules and employee movements.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for corporate, sales, factory and support functions.
- Understand manpower requirements and prepare recruitment plans.
- Coordinate with department heads and hiring managers for recruitment.
- Source candidates through job portals, consultants, referrals and other channels.
- Conduct/coordinate interviews, salary negotiations and offer rollouts.
- Ensure timely onboarding of new employees.
Payroll & Compensation
- Manage monthly payroll processing in coordination with Finance/payroll teams.
- Ensure accurate attendance, leave, overtime, incentives and payroll inputs.
- Manage salary revisions, increments, deductions and full & final settlements.
- Handle employee queries related to salary, statutory deductions and benefits.
- Ensure payroll data is accurate and processed within timelines.
Statutory Compliance & Labour Laws
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Manage PF, ESI, PT, Gratuity, Bonus, Minimum Wages, Shops & Establishments Act, Payment of Wages Act and other applicable regulations.
- Ensure factory-related statutory compliance and labour documentation.
- Coordinate with statutory consultants, auditors and government authorities.
- Maintain statutory registers, records, licenses and required documentation.
- Support labour inspections, audits and statutory assessments.
- Ensure timely submission/payment of statutory returns and contributions.
Factory HR & Employee Relations
- Manage HR operations at the manufacturing/factory location.
- Handle manpower planning for production and support functions.
- Manage contract labour/workmen-related HR activities.
- Monitor attendance, shifts, overtime, absenteeism and manpower productivity.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters and workplace issues.
- Maintain positive employee relations and a productive work environment.
- Coordinate with factory management on workforce requirements and HR issues.
- Support compliance related to Factories Act and applicable state labour regulations.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives.
- Plan and execute employee events, celebrations and recognition programs.
- Conduct employee engagement surveys and prepare action plans.
- Drive employee communication and culture-building initiatives.
- Manage employee recognition and rewards programs.
- Improve employee satisfaction, retention and workplace experience.
Performance Management
- Manage the annual performance appraisal process.
- Coordinate goal setting, KRAs/KPIs and performance reviews.
- Support managers in performance evaluation and improvement plans.
- Track probation confirmation and employee performance milestones.
- Develop initiatives to improve employee productivity and performance.
Learning & Development
- Identify training and development requirements across departments.
- Prepare and coordinate the annual training calendar.
- Organise technical, functional, behavioural and compliance training.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and maintain training records.
- Support leadership and employee development initiatives.
HRMS & HR Analytics
- Manage and maintain the organization's HRMS.
- Ensure accurate employee master data and HR records.
- Manage attendance, leave, recruitment, onboarding and performance modules.
- Generate HR reports and dashboards for management.
- Track headcount, attrition, absenteeism, recruitment TAT, manpower cost, overtime and employee engagement metrics.
Policies & Process Improvement
- Develop, review and update HR policies in line with business requirements and applicable laws.
- Standardise HR processes across corporate and factory locations.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
- Ensure effective communication and implementation of HR policies.
Employee Welfare & Benefits
- Manage employee welfare initiatives for office and factory employees.
- Coordinate employee insurance, medical benefits and other welfare schemes.
- Ensure statutory and company-provided benefits are administered effectively.
- Address employee concerns related to benefits and welfare.
HR MIS & Management Reporting
- Prepare monthly HR MIS and management dashboards.
- Provide management with reports on headcount, attrition, recruitment, payroll, absenteeism and manpower cost.
- Analyze HR trends and recommend corrective actions.
- Support management in manpower budgeting and workforce planning.

Educational Qualification
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Relevant HR certifications will be an added advantage.
Preferred Experience
- 7-12 years of HR experience, preferably in FMCG, Manufacturing, Food Processing or a similar industry.
- Prior experience handling both corporate HR and factory HR is preferred.
- Experience managing staff, workmen and contract labour will be an advantage.
