Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and responsible HR Executive / HR Generalist with 2 - 4 years of experience to manage day-to-day HR activities and support the overall employee lifecycle.
The candidate will work closely with management and employees across different functions and will be responsible for recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, HR operations, performance management, documentation, and statutory compliance.
Role & responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Understand manpower requirements and coordinate with hiring managers.
- Prepare and publish job descriptions on platforms such as Naukri, LinkedIn, etc.
- Source, screen, and shortlist candidates.
- Coordinate interviews and maintain candidate records.
- Manage the offer, selection, and joining process.
- Maintain recruitment trackers and hiring reports.
Employee Onboarding & HR Operations
- Manage employee onboarding and induction processes.
- Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and personnel files.
- Handle employee attendance, leave, and related HR processes.
- Coordinate with employees regarding HR policies, documents, and queries.
- Maintain and update HR databases and trackers.
Employee Engagement & Relations
- Support employee engagement activities and internal events.
- Address employee queries and coordinate with management for resolution.
- Promote a positive and professional work environment.
- Support employee grievance handling and maintain appropriate documentation.
Performance Management
- Coordinate the performance appraisal process.
- Track employee goals, reviews, and performance-related documentation.
- Support managers in maintaining performance records and follow-up actions.
Payroll & Compliance Coordination
- Coordinate monthly payroll inputs such as attendance, leave, new joiners, and exits.
- Coordinate with payroll/accounting teams for salary processing.
- Maintain HR-related statutory records and documentation.
- Support compliance activities related to applicable labor laws and company policies.
HR Policies & Process Improvement
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and processes.
- Ensure HR processes are followed consistently across the organization.
- Maintain HR MIS and prepare periodic reports for management.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes as the organization grows.
Required Skills
- 2 to 4 years of experience in HR / HR Generalist / HR Executive roles.
- Good understanding of recruitment and employee lifecycle management.
- Good knowledge of HR operations and documentation.
- Basic understanding of payroll, attendance, leave management, and statutory compliance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee information.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets and MS Office.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple teams.
- Strong problem-solving and people-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working in a technology, engineering, manufacturing, or startup environment.
- Familiarity with HRMS/HR software.
- Experience handling end-to-end recruitment.
