Job summary

Sundaram Finance in Chennai seeks a compliance professional with 10–15 years in manufacturing to ensure 100% adherence to S&E, TL, CLRA, EPF, ESI and labor regulations, plus regular internal audits.

You will coordinate with external consultants, labor departments and government bodies for renewals, track expirations, manage licenses, and prepare timely reports for internal and external customers.

Confidential records must be maintained and grievance handling aligned with statutory timelines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure 100% compliance with S&E, TL, CLRA, EPF, ESI, and all compliances under labor regulations.
• Conduct regular internal audits at project locations to identify and rectify compliance gaps.
• Prepare for and manage external auditors during inspections to avoid penalties or legal repercussions.
• Generate periodic reports on compliance metrics & ensure timely submissions to internal/external customers.
• Coordinate with external consultants, labor departments, and government bodies for timely license renewals.
• Proactively track expiration dates and resolve discrepancies to prevent operational disruptions.
• Track clearances and close employee records to minimize litigation risks.
• Facilitate grievance handling in line with Industrial Disputes Act, mediating between corporate HR.
• Maintain confidential records and ensure resolutions align with statutory dispute resolution timelines.
• Conduct compliance spot-checks and align site practices with central policies
• Candidates with manufacturing/factory exposure are preferred.
