GlobalData Plc is seeking a proactive HR Business Partner to align people initiatives with our business goals. The candidate should come from product development/technology-driven environments and possess strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

The role partners with leadership to drive workforce planning, performance, talent development, and employee engagement while ensuring compliant HR processes and data-driven reporting improvements across the corporate function.

Qualifications

  • 6 to 15 years of experience as HRBP.
  • Experience with technology/product development teams.
  • Post-graduation from Tier-1/Premium institutes preferred.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on people-related matters including workforce planning, performance management, talent development and employee engagement.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business priorities and develop HR strategies that support growth and productivity.
  • Lead and drive the annual performance review cycle including goal setting, talent calibration and compensation planning processes.
  • Collaborate with the talent acquisition team to support hiring decisions, workforce planning, and onboarding experience.
  • Identify skill and competency gaps and partner with Learning & Development to design and implement capability-building programs.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives, culture-building activities, and change management programs.
  • Analyse HR metrics, employee feedback, and attrition trends to generate actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain HR dashboards and reports to track headcount, attrition, hiring, diversity, and engagement.
  • Prepare and present periodic workforce reports to senior leadership highlighting HR metrics and business impact.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity and compliance across HR systems while driving automation in reporting processes.
  • Champion HR best practices to enhance processes and operational efficiency.

Position:HR Business Partner (HRBP)
Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and strategic HR Business Partner (HRBP) to collaborate closely with the business leadership and drive people initiatives aligned to organizational goals. The ideal candidate will be from product development/technology-driven organizations, possess strong stakeholder management skills, and demonstrate exceptional communication and analytical capabilities. Candidates from Tier-1/Premium institutions are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on all people-related matters, including workforce planning, performance management, talent development, and employee engagement.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business priorities and develop HR strategies that support organizational growth and productivity.

  • Ensure policy adherence, promote a positive employee experience, and address employee relations matters with fairness and compliance.
  • Champion HR best practices to enhance processes, operational efficiency, and overall business impact.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 6 to 15 years of experience as HRBP, preferably supporting technology/product development teams.
  • Post-graduation from Tier-1/Premium institutions (IIMs/XLRI/TISS/ISB/SCMHRD or equivalent) highly preferred.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
  • Proven track record in driving HR processes across talent management, performance, and employee engagement.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Strong analytical mindset and experience using HR dashboards, MIS, and reporting tools.
