About the Role

We are looking for a highly proactive, people-focused, and business-oriented Associate Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to drive employee engagement, workforce effectiveness, performance management, and strategic people initiatives across the organization.

This role requires someone who can go beyond traditional HR operations and routine employee check-ins. The ideal candidate should have a strong personality, excellent interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and the ability to build genuine relationships with employees and business leaders.

The Associate HRBP will work closely with business stakeholders, the Talent Excellence team, leadership, and other cross-functional teams to identify people-related challenges, understand employee sentiment, improve workforce productivity, and drive timely solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic HR Business Partner, aligning people initiatives with business and organizational goals.
• Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle, including employee engagement, performance management, employee relations, and workforce decisions.
• Build genuine connections with employees and proactively understand employee sentiment, concerns, and engagement levels.
• Handle sensitive employee matters, escalations at the right time to leadership, and performance concerns with strong judgment, confidentiality, and professionalism.
• Drive and manage performance improvement plans (PIPs) and related stakeholder discussions.
• Identify employee risks and proactively develop and execute mitigation plans.
• Work closely with the TE and PMO teams on productivity, workforce utilization, resource optimization and organizational effectiveness.
• Provide leadership with practical insights, recommendations, and solutions rather than only highlighting problems.
• Communicate the organization's mission, culture, and impact effectively to employees and potential talent.

Required Skills & Competencies

• 1 year of experience in HRBP, HR Generalist, People Partner, or similar HR roles.
• Strong experience in employee engagement, employee relations, performance management, and employee lifecycle management.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong ownership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Actively participate in engineering stand-ups and business discussions to develop a deep understanding of team dynamics, operational challenges, and employee needs, enabling proactive and effective people interventions.
• Exposure to workforce planning, productivity analysis, or resource optimization is preferred.
• The company has a well-established, customized career-belt program for engineers, Project Managers, and operations teams. The Lead HRBP must ensure effective implementation and adherence to the framework, closely monitor career progression and upskilling, and proactively identify deviations, conduct RCA, and drive corrective actions.
• Comfortable working 3:00 PM –12:00 AM IST to overlap with ET business hours.
