TP in Chennai is seeking an HR Business Partner to partner with business leaders, translate business goals into HR strategies, and guide employee relations and performance management. Qualifications

  • MBA/PGDM in Human Resources preferred.
  • 5-8 years of experience in HR Business Partnering, Employee Relations, Talent Management, or Generalist HR.
  • Experience partnering with business leaders in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary HR contact for designated business units.
  • Partner with managers to translate business goals into HR strategies.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and organizational development.
  • Support organizational changes, restructuring, and transformation initiatives.
  • Drive talent acquisition strategies in partnership with recruitment teams.
  • Support succession planning and leadership development programs.
  • Identify talent gaps and create development plans for high-potential employees.
  • Facilitate performance management and annual appraisal processes.
  • Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Conduct employee engagement initiatives and action plans.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture and improve employee experience.
  • Support retention and employee wellness programs.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
  • Support policy implementation and communication across business units.
  • Monitor HR metrics, attrition trends, absenteeism, and employee productivity.
  • Ensure accurate HR documentation and data management.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to drive people-related decisions.
  • Build strong relationships with managers and employees across levels.
  • Provide coaching and advisory support to people managers.
  • Partner with Learning & Development teams to address capability-building needs.
  • Analyze workforce data and provide insights for business decision-making.
  • Prepare monthly HR dashboards and management reports.
  • Track key HR metrics including attrition, hiring, engagement, and performance indicators.
  • Recommend improvement initiatives based on data trends.
