Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and responsible HR & Admin Officer with 2-3 years of experience in HR operations, preferably in a manufacturing/industrial environment. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR activities, including recruitment, contract labour management, time office, canteen and transportation management, and employee coordination, Other Administration activities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Manpower Planning
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for staff and workmen requirements.
- Coordinate with departments to understand manpower requirements.
- Source candidates through job portals, consultants, references and other channels.
- Conduct initial screening, interview coordination and joining formalities.
- Maintain recruitment records and track open positions.
2. Contract Labour Management
- Manage day-to-day activities related to contract labour/workmen.
- Coordinate with contractors for manpower deployment and attendance.
- Ensure timely submission and verification of contractor documents.
- Monitor compliance-related documentation for contract labour.
- Coordinate with contractors regarding wages, attendance, statutory requirements and employee issues.
3. Time Office Management
- Manage daily attendance, shift schedules, overtime and leave records.
- Maintain accurate time office records and resolve attendance-related queries.
- Coordinate with payroll for attendance and salary inputs.
- Prepare periodic attendance and manpower reports.
4. Canteen Management
- Coordinate day-to-day canteen operations and service providers.
- Monitor food quality, hygiene, cleanliness and service standards.
- Coordinate with the canteen contractor and address employee concerns.
- Maintain records related to canteen operations and expenses.
5. Transportation Management
- Coordinate employee transportation services and routes.
- Monitor vehicle availability, schedules and attendance.
- Coordinate with transport vendors for smooth daily operations.
- Address transportation-related employee concerns and maintain relevant records.
6. General HR Operations
- Handle employee queries and provide timely support.
- Maintain HR records, documentation and personnel files.
- Prepare HR MIS and other reports as required.
- Support HR Manager/HR Head in day-to-day HR activities and special projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate or Master degree in HR, Business Administration or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in HR & Admin operations.
- Experience in recruitment, contract labour management and time office management, Admin Activities is preferred.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong coordination and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple HR activities.
- Candidates with experience in a manufacturing/plant environment will be preferred.
