Job summary

Shriram Enterprises in Pune is seeking a Statutory Compliance professional to manage PF, ESIC and PT compliance, prepare monthly challans and payments, and file PF ECR, ESIC returns and PT returns. You will reconcile payroll data with employee records and coordinate with HR, Payroll and Accounts for timely filings.

Graduate with 2–3 years' hands-on experience in statutory/payroll compliance is required; strong MS Excel skills and knowledge of labour regulations are essential.

Role & responsibilities -

• Handle monthly PF, ESIC and PT compliance.


• Prepare and process monthly statutory challans and payments within due dates.


• File PF ECR, ESIC returns and PT returns as applicable.


• Maintain statutory records, payment proofs, challans and return acknowledgements.


• Reconcile PF/ESIC/PT data with payroll and employee records.


• Coordinate with HR, Payroll and Accounts teams for statutory compliance.


• Handle PF, ESIC, PT and labour-law audits and provide required documents.


• Respond to statutory notices, queries and inspections, as required.


• Track statutory due dates and ensure timely submission of all returns and payments.


• Identify discrepancies and ensure timely correction and reconciliation.


• Prepare monthly statutory compliance MIS and reports for management.


• Keep updated with changes in applicable labor and statutory regulations.

Preferred candidate profile -

• Graduate with 2-3 years of hands‑on experience in Statutory Compliance / Payroll Compliance.


• Candidates from Manpower Supply, Labour Contractor, Staffing, Recruitment or Facility Management companies preferred.


• Strong practical knowledge of PF, ESIC and Professional Tax (PT).


• Experience in monthly challan preparation, payment and statutory return filing.


• Hands‑on experience in PF ECR, ESIC compliance and PT returns.


• Experience in handling statutory audits, inspections and compliance documentation.


• Good knowledge of payroll data, employee records and statutory reconciliation.


• Ability to independently track statutory due dates and ensure timely compliance.


• Good knowledge of MS Excel and statutory compliance portals.


• Strong attention to detail, follow‑up skills and ability to work within deadlines.


• Candidates who have independently handled end‑to‑end PF, ESIC, PT and labour compliance will be preferred.
