Keka Technologies Private Limited is seeking a Human Resources Manager/HR Officer to oversee recruitment, onboarding, compliance, payroll coordination, and performance management at the school. You will drive a positive work environment aligned with the school's values and mission.
The role covers background checks, visa support for international hires, staff records, policy enforcement, and staff development initiatives to support recruitment, retention, and workforce planning.

The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management at the school. This includes staff recruitment, onboarding, compliance, payroll coordination, performance management, and fostering a positive and professional work environment that aligns with the school's values and mission.
Coordinate recruitment of teaching and non-teaching staff, including advertising roles, shortlisting candidates, and scheduling interviews.
Support the leadership team in finalizing hiring decisions.
Ensure background checks, credential verification, and reference checks are completed.
Maintain a recruitment database and talent pipeline.
Manage onboarding process for new staff, including orientation sessions, documentation, and benefits enrollment.
Provide welcome support for international hires (visa processing, relocation assistance, cultural integration).
Ensure all new staff receive staff handbooks, school policies, and IT access.
Maintain accurate and confidential HR records, staff files, and contracts.
Monitor staff leave balances, attendance records, and contract renewal dates.
Coordinate with payroll/finance teams to ensure accurate salary and benefits administration.
Develop and implement HR policies in line with school values and local labor laws.
Ensure legal compliance related to employment contracts, labor regulations, and workplace safety.
Keep up to date with changes in employment law and HR best practices.
Support professional development initiatives and coordinate appraisal/performance review processes.
Address staff concerns or grievances professionally and confidentially.
Promote a positive, inclusive, and respectful school culture.
Organize staff engagement events, well-being programs, and recognition initiatives.
Contribute to strategic planning around recruitment, retention, and workforce development.
Provide HR reports and data analysis for school leadership when required.
Participate in HR audits and internal evaluations.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
3+ years of HR experience; experience in an educational or international setting preferred.
Knowledge of local labor laws and HR best practices.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
High degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity.
Proficient in HR software systems, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
Fluency in English (required); additional languages are a plus.
Experience supporting expatriate staff (visas, onboarding, relocation).
Familiarity with international school operations and staff lifecycle.
Conflict resolution and mediation skills.
Ability to multitask and work independently under pressure.
Full-time, Monday to Saturday
May require occasional availability for staff orientation, emergencies, or school events
