Freelancer in India is seeking a Network Support Engineer responsible for Level 1/2 support, monitoring performance, and troubleshooting LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi/VPN/DNS/DHCP issues to ensure reliable connectivity.

You will configure routers, switches, access points, and firewalls; perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting; maintain documentation and assist with upgrades and security policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1/Level 2 technical support for network-related issues.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and connectivity.
• Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and IP-related issues.
• Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, access points, and firewalls.
• Perform network installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Diagnose network connectivity and performance issues and provide timely resolution.
• Monitor network devices using network monitoring tools.
• Handle incident, service request, and problem management as per SLA.
• Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate internal teams or vendors.
• Maintain network documentation, configuration records, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Support network security policies, access controls, and firewall configurations.
• Assist with network upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvement projects.
