Job summary

PCS Management Consultancy Lucknow is seeking a hands-on Hardware & Network Support Engineer to maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and provide reliable technical support to employees. The role involves diagnosing problems, managing IT assets, and helping keep systems secure and operational.

You will diagnose problems, manage IT assets, and help keep systems secure and operational, with responsibilities spanning desktops, networks, backups, and user access.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in IT or related field.
• Experience supporting computer hardware and operating systems.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, switches, and routers.
• Knowledge of Windows; macOS or Linux is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer-service skills.
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+/Network+ or CCNA are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and repair desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Diagnose hardware, operating system, software, and connectivity issues.
• Set up and troubleshoot LAN, Wi‑Fi, routers, switches, and network cabling.
• Create and manage user accounts, permissions, and access to IT resources.
• Monitor network performance and escalate where needed.
• Perform routine backups, updates, patching, and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain records of devices, configurations, licenses, and support requests.
• Follow IT security policies and support endpoint protection and access controls.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers when required.
