The candidate will lead a team of riders or warehouse personnel to meet daily delivery objectives, maintain quality, and ensure reliable attendance. Strong coordination with Fleet, Operations, and HR is essential. Key duties include route allocation, monitoring attendance and delivery metrics, resolving escalations, enforcing safety and documentation, and delivering coaching to new team members.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in last-mile delivery or logistics operations.
• In-depth knowledge of local geography and established routes.
• Strong leadership and communication with basic Excel or app-based reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Allocate specific routes or tasks and conduct team briefings at the beginning of every shift.
• Monitor employee attendance, productivity, and key delivery metrics such as on-time performance and failed delivery rates.
• Address operational issues raised by riders, manage escalations, and resolve customer complaints effectively.
• Enforce adherence to safety protocols, ensure proper uniform usage, and verify that all documentation remains current.
• Collaborate with the Fleet Manager, Operations, and Human Resources departments to address staffing requirements and manage replacements.
• Generate and distribute daily MIS updates and performance reports.
• Provide coaching and training to new team members to facilitate their integration and skill development.
