Job summary

Purplle.com in India is seeking a Delivery Operations Manager responsible for day-to-day last-mile delivery from the warehouse/dark store. You will supervise delivery executives and ensure optimal manpower utilization.

You'll monitor order allocation, dispatch, delivery status, and KPIs, plan shifts and roster, and coordinate with warehouse, inventory, and support teams to ensure smooth order movement and timely issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day last-mile delivery operations from the warehouse/dark store.
• Supervise and manage delivery executives/riders and ensure optimum manpower utilization.
• Monitor order allocation, dispatch, delivery status, and pending orders.
• Ensure adherence to SLA, TAT and delivery productivity targets.
• Plan and manage shifts, attendance, roster, and daily manpower requirements.
• Track rider productivity, delivery performance, attendance, and operational KPIs.
• Coordinate with warehouse, inventory, customer support, and other teams for smooth order movement.
• Identify operational issues and take timely corrective action.
• Handle delivery-related escalations and resolve issues effectively.
• Prepare and maintain daily MIS and operational reports.
