Job summary

Zoho in Hyderabad is seeking a Fleet Manager to oversee city hub delivery fleet, riders and vehicles, ensuring capacity, cost efficiency and regulatory compliance. You will forecast staffing, supervise team leads, track maintenance, and optimize asset utilization.

You will analyze KPIs, coordinate with vendors and accounts, handle escalations, and deliver weekly/monthly performance reports to stakeholders. Must travel between hubs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Forecast daily fleet and rider staffing based on projected orders.

• Analyze KPIs such as delivery turnaround time, cost per order, attrition, and asset utilization.
• Collaborate with external vendors or AR team regarding recruitment, onboarding, and payments.
• Handle escalations including accident reporting and safety incidents.
• Prepare and present weekly and monthly performance reports to stakeholders.

Summary

This role is dedicated to the comprehensive oversight of a city or hub-based delivery fleet, encompassing both riders and vehicles. The primary objective is to ensure operational capacity, cost efficiency, and strict regulatory compliance are maintained at all times. By balancing resource allocation with performance goals, this position plays a critical part in the seamless execution of logistics operations.

Position: Fleet Manager

Responsibilities

• Forecast daily fleet and rider staffing needs based on projected order volumes.
• Supervise Team Leaders to ensure all hubs maintain optimal staffing levels.
• Track vehicle readiness, schedule maintenance, manage fuel consumption, and verify all documentation, including licenses, insurance, and registration certificates.
• Analyze key performance indicators such as delivery turnaround time, cost per order, employee attrition rates, and asset utilization.
• Collaborate with external vendors or the Accounts Receivable team regarding recruitment, onboarding processes, and payment disbursements.
• Handle operational escalations, including accident reporting and safety incident management.
• Compile and present weekly and monthly performance reports to stakeholders.

Requirements

Minimum educational qualification of 12th pass with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in logistics or fleet operations, specifically involving team supervision.

Proficiency in Management Information Systems (MIS), vendor management, and complex problem-solving.

Availability and willingness to travel between different operational hubs as required.
