Job summary

Growth For Impact seeks an experienced Fleet Manager to oversee multi-client, multi-hub EV operations in India. You will allocate vehicles, manage battery health and charging schedules, and coordinate with client stakeholders to ensure SLA compliance and cost efficiency.

The role requires strong leadership, fleet-telematics experience, and the ability to scale fleet resources during peak seasons. You will collaborate with 3PL partners, OEMs, and internal teams to deliver seamless last-mile

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations or related field.
• Experience managing multi-client, multi-hub fleet operations with varying SLAs.
• Experience with fleet/telematics platforms supporting multi-entity, client-wise reporting.
• Strong client-facing communication skills — comfortable presenting fleet performance to client stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Excel/BI tools; ERP/WMS integration exposure a plus.
• Scalability mindset — managing fleet flex-up/down for seasonal/client demand spikes.
• Cost transparency and client-wise P&L thinking.
• Crisis management across a distributed, shared fleet.
• Prior experience in e-commerce/quick-commerce last-mile 3PL operations.
• Experience transitioning a 3PL client fleet from ICE to EV.
• Certification in Fleet Management or EV/Battery systems.
• 8-10 years of experience in the related area as an individual contributor.
• 1-2 years supervisory experience mandatory.
• Extensive knowledge of the function and department processes.

Responsibilities

• Allocate vehicles across clients based on volume forecasts, SLAs, and priority contracts.
• Coordinate with client operations/account managers on volume fluctuations, peak season scaling, and route changes.
• Track and report client-wise fleet utilization, cost-per-delivery, and SLA compliance metrics.
• Manage battery health, charge cycles, and swap/replacement schedules.
• Plan charging infrastructure and schedules across multiple hub locations to avoid delivery disruptions.
• Coordinate with battery-swap/charging infrastructure vendors across the network.
• Manage 3PL-specific vendor contracts — vehicle leasing partners, OEMs, charging/battery-swap providers.
• Negotiate rate contracts for vehicle procurement/leasing scalable across multiple client accounts.
• Recruit, train, and supervise EV drivers/gig delivery partners across hubs.
• Manage fleet operating budget — charging costs, leasing, AMC, insurance — with client-wise cost allocation.
• Drive cost-per-km and cost-per-delivery optimization across the shared fleet model.
• Implement performance dashboards for driver productivity and vehicle utilization by client/hub.
• Work closely with warehouse/hub operations, dispatch, and client servicing teams.
• Support new client onboarding by scoping fleet requirements and EV feasibility for their delivery zones.
• Evaluate fleet management software with multi-client, multi-hub reporting capability
