Job summary

Happy Holidays in India is seeking a Fleet Manager to supervise daily fleet operations, ensure safety compliance, and optimize performance. You will lead planning, maintenance scheduling, and route optimization to reduce costs and improve service levels.

You will collaborate with the fleet team, monitor metrics, and contribute to procurement decisions while mentoring drivers on safety and procedures to ensure regulatory adherence and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the fleet, including vehicle maintenance, scheduling, and route planning.
• Monitor fleet performance metrics and generate reports to identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding fleet operations
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to schedule repairs and preventative maintenance
• Support the procurement process for new vehicles, including evaluating specifications and negotiating contracts.
• Develop and implement best practices for fuel management and cost reduction
• Assist in training and mentoring drivers on safety protocols and operational procedures
• Participate in fleet audits and assist in maintaining accurate records for compliance and reporting.
