Role Description

The Fleet Manager Quick Commerce is a full-time, on-site role based in Gandhinagar, responsible for overseeing daily fleet operations supporting rapid delivery and quick commerce services. This role involves planning and allocating vehicles, monitoring route performance, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries, and optimizing fleet utilization to meet service-level targets. The Fleet Manager will ensure compliance with relevant transport and safety regulations, coordinate with operations and warehouse teams, and manage third-party transport partners or drivers where applicable. Daily responsibilities include tracking vehicle availability, handling escalations related to delays or service issues, analyzing operational data to improve efficiency, and implementing process improvements for cost and performance optimization. The role also includes maintaining accurate fleet records, overseeing maintenance schedules, and supporting workforce planning for fleet-related activities.

Qualifications
  • Strong experience in Fleet Operations and Fleet Management, with the ability to manage multiple vehicles and delivery routes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Operations Management, including planning, coordination, and performance monitoring across logistics and quick commerce processes.
  • Knowledge of DOT Regulations and other applicable transport and safety standards, with a focus on compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Well-developed Analytical Skills to interpret operational data, identify trends, and implement data-driven improvements in fleet efficiency and service quality.
  • Prior experience in logistics, quick commerce, or last-mile delivery operations is highly beneficial.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with drivers, operations teams, and client representatives.
  • Ability to use fleet management or logistics software and basic proficiency in MS Excel or similar tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may be considered in place of formal education.
