Job summary

Swift Cargo in Delhi is seeking a proactive Customer Service professional to act as the single point of contact for clients. You will understand requirements, coordinate shipments, negotiate pricing, and ensure all terms align with business guidelines.

You will arrange shipments by evaluating destination, route, rates and delivery times, build long-term relationships with liners, customers and overseas agents, and follow up on payments while coordinating with Sales, Operations and Documentation.

Job description

Act as a single point of Contact:-

• Customer service personnel acts as a single point of contact for the clients.
• They manage/negotiate pricing and co-ordinate for all shipments.

Understand customer requirements and elevate potential issues if any :-

• CS understands the customer requirements to avoid any discrepancies
• Always elevate potential issues and ensure corrective actions are taken in accordance with business guidelines and customer requirements.
• Be proactive in order to minimize service crises.

Arrange shipment for the customers:-

• Arrange shipments by examining destination, route, rate and delivery time.
• Maintain, grow, and build long term relationships with Liners, Customers and Overseas agents.

Follow-up with customer for outstanding payments:-

• Manage and update reports on weekly or monthly basis as required.
• Co-ordinate with Sales, Operations and Documentation department and follow-up on shipments generated.
