Job summary

Swift Cargo is seeking an experienced customer service/shipping coordinator to act as the single point of contact for clients, understand their requirements, and arrange shipments with attention to destination, route, rate, and delivery time.

The role requires proactive issue prevention and close collaboration with sales, operations, and documentation teams to ensure timely shipments and payment follow-ups.

• Act as single point of contact for clients.
• Manage and negotiate pricing; coordinate shipments.
• Understand customer requirements and prevent issues.
• Be proactive to minimize service crises.
• Arrange shipments by destination, route, rate and delivery time.
• Maintain and build relationships with liners, customers and overseas agents.
• Follow up on outstanding payments.
• Manage/update weekly or monthly reports.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations and Documentation; follow up on shipments.

Job description

Act as a single point of Contact:-

• Customer service personnel acts as a single point of contact for the clients.
• They manage/negotiate pricing and co-ordinate for all shipments.

Understand customer requirements and escape potential issues if any :-

• CS understands the customer requirements to avoid any discrepancies
• Always escape potential issues and ensure corrective actions are taken in accordance with business guidelines and customer requirements.
• Be proactive in order to minimize service crises.

Arrange shipment for the customers:-

• Arrange shipments by examining destination, route, rate and delivery time.
• Maintain, grow, and build long term relationships with Liners, Customers and Overseas agents.

Follow-up with customer for outstanding payments:-

• Manage and update reports on weekly or monthly basis as required.
• Co-ordinate with Sales, Operations and Documentation department and follow-up on shipments generated.
