Job summary

Saya Homes is seeking an experienced Purchase Head to lead the procurement function for our real estate projects in Greater Noida West. You will develop procurement strategies, manage vendor relationships, and drive cost optimization across construction materials, MEP items, and services.

The ideal candidate has 12–18 years of procurement experience in real estate/construction, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Qualifications

• 12–18 years of procurement experience in real estate/construction/infrastructure
• Leadership experience in managing procurement teams (min 5 years)
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, vendor management, and contracts
• Experience in sourcing civil, MEP, finishing, and interior materials for large-scale projects
• Proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and business objectives.
• Lead end-to-end procurement of construction materials, MEP items, finishing materials, equipment, and services.
• Identify, evaluate, onboard, and manage vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms to achieve cost efficiencies.
• Ensure timely procurement and uninterrupted supply to project sites.
• Conduct vendor performance evaluations and maintain a supplier database.
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply chain risks.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, planning, finance, and stores teams.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and quality standards.
• Prepare procurement plans, budgets, MIS, and cost-saving analyses.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Purchase Head to lead the procurement function for our real estate projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing procurement strategies, managing vendor relationships, optimizing costs, ensuring timely availability of materials and services, and maintaining quality and compliance standards across all projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, onboard, and manage vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, contracts, and payment conditions to achieve cost efficiencies.
• Ensure timely procurement and uninterrupted supply of materials to project sites.
• Conduct vendor performance evaluations and maintain a reliable supplier database.
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply chain risks to optimize procurement decisions.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, planning, finance, and stores teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, statutory requirements, and quality standards.
• Prepare procurement plans, budgets, purchase reports, MIS, and cost-saving analyses.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field. MBA or PGDM in Supply Chain/Operations is preferred.
• 12-18 years of procurement experience in the real estate, construction, or infrastructure sector.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role managing procurement teams.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, vendor management, contract negotiation, inventory planning, and procurement processes.
• Experience in sourcing civil, MEP, finishing, and interior materials for large-scale projects.
• Excellent commercial negotiation, analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) and Microsoft Office.
