Job summary

K K Construction is seeking an experienced Purchase Executive to manage procurement for our construction projects in Greater Noida. You will source materials, negotiate with suppliers, prepare orders, and ensure timely deliveries while keeping records up to date.

The ideal candidate has 2–8 years in purchase/procurement within a construction setting, strong vendor management and Excel skills, and the ability to coordinate with site teams and accounts for smooth operations.

Qualifications

• 2–8 years of experience in purchase/procurement, preferably with a construction company.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials and local suppliers.
• Good negotiation and vendor-management skills.
• Knowledge of MS Excel and purchase documentation.
• Ability to coordinate with construction sites and multiple vendors.
• Good communication and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Procure construction materials such as cement, steel, sand, aggregates, plumbing and other site requirements.
• Identify and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Obtain quotations, compare prices and negotiate terms.
• Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery to project sites.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, stores and accounts teams.
• Monitor material quality, quantities, rates and delivery schedules.
• Maintain purchase records, vendor details and invoices.
• Follow up with suppliers regarding pending orders and payments.
• Ensure procurement is within approved budgets and project requirements.
• Visit suppliers/markets for sourcing and price comparison.
