Aparna Constructions And Estates is seeking a Head Labour Mobilization to plan, mobilize, deploy and manage skilled and unskilled workforce across multiple high-rise residential sites in Hyderabad. The role requires deep experience in large-scale projects, contractor networks, labour sourcing, IR, compliance and workforce optimization.

The candidate should have 7+ years in labour mobilization leadership, with 10–20 years in construction workforce management and a strong network of labour

Qualifications

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech or any Graduate required.
• MBA / PGDM in Operations or HR is an added advantage.
• 10–20 years of experience in construction workforce management.
• Minimum 7 years in labour mobilisation leadership role.
• Experience in high-rise residential/township projects is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement labour mobilisation strategies for high-rise projects.
• Forecast manpower requirements based on schedules and execution plans.
• Ensure timely deployment of skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled workers across projects.
• Maintain optimum labour strength to avoid delays and productivity loss.
• Identify, onboard and manage labour contractors and manpower vendors.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Construction Heads, and Planning teams for labour needs.
• Resolve site-level labour shortages, absenteeism, and deployment issues.

Position Summary

The Head Labour Mobilization is responsible for planning, mobilizing, deploying, and managing skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled workforce requirements for high-rise residential construction projects across multiple sites. The role involves coordination with labour contractors, subcontractors, project teams, and regional labour networks to ensure uninterrupted manpower availability aligned with project schedules and productivity targets.

The position requires strong experience in large-scale residential construction, labour sourcing networks, workforce planning, industrial relations, statutory compliance, and contractor management.

Key Responsibilities

Labour Mobilization & Workforce Planning

• Develop and implement labour mobilization strategies for high-rise residential projects.
• Forecast manpower requirements based on project schedules, construction phases, and execution plans.
• Ensure timely deployment of skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled manpower across projects.
• Maintain optimum labour strength to avoid delays and productivity loss.

Contractor & Vendor Management

• Identify, onboard, and manage labour contractors and manpower vendors across regions.
• Build a reliable labour supply chain for civil, finishing, MEP, shuttering, steel, masonry, and finishing trades.
• Evaluate contractor performance on productivity, quality, compliance, and workforce stability.
• Negotiate labour rates, deployment schedules, and commercial terms.

Site Coordination

• Coordinate with Project Managers, Construction Heads, and Planning teams for labour requirements.
• Ensure labour availability aligned with construction milestones.
• Resolve site-level labour shortages, absenteeism, and deployment issues.

Productivity & Workforce Optimization

• Monitor labour productivity and deployment efficiency.
• Implement systems for labour tracking, attendance, and productivity measurement.
• Optimize workforce allocation across multiple projects.

Industrial Relations & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with labour laws, CLRA regulations, statutory requirements, and safety standards.
• Handle labour-related disputes, grievances, and workforce issues.
• Coordinate with HR, IR, EHS, and administration teams for smooth workforce operations.

MIS & Reporting

• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly manpower reports.
• Track labour deployment, contractor performance, and productivity metrics.
• Maintain labour database and contractor records.
