Job summary

Shapoorji Pallonji Group is seeking a Labour Deployment Planner to manage manpower across multiple construction sites in India. The role involves coordinating with project teams, contractors, and HR to ensure timely mobilization, optimal utilization, and adherence to labour regulations.

You will develop staffing plans, monitor productivity, and drive efficiency across projects. The successful candidate will have experience in EPC/real estate projects, strong planning skills, and a track record

Qualifications

• Experience in labour deployment and workforce planning in construction/EPC sectors.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deploy labour resources across projects based on schedules and execution priorities.
• Coordinate with project teams, site management, and labour contractors for timely mobilization and demobilization of workforce.
• Monitor labour availability, productivity, utilization, and redeployment across ongoing projects.
• Develop and maintain a network of labour contractors and manpower suppliers.
• Ensure adequate availability of skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled manpower for all project requirements.
• Review labour deployment plans in line with project milestones and resource forecasts.
• Track labour strength, absenteeism, productivity, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, statutory regulations, and company policies at all project locations.
• Work with HR, IR, Projects, and Procurement to resolve labour-related issues.
• Prepare manpower deployment MIS reports, dashboards, forecasts, and presentations.
• Support contingency planning for critical manpower shortages and peak requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement in labour deployment processes and workforce planning.

Preferred candidate profile :-

Candidates from leading Engineering & Construction, Infrastructure, EPC, Real Estate, Industrial, Metro, Airport, Smart City, High-rise, and Building Construction organizations will be preferred.
