Job summary

Chheda Specialities Foods in Maharashtra is seeking a senior HR leader to oversee operations across HO, plants, depots and sales regions, driving policies, SOPs, workforce planning and payroll.

The role requires strong labour law and IR expertise across multiple locations, hands-on Spine HRMS experience, and a track record of building hiring engines and capability at scale. You will drive engagement, manage audits, and present monthly dashboards to Directors.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive HR experience in manufacturing
• Multi-location manufacturing HR (2+ plants, 1000+ workforce) experience
• Hands-on labour law and IR experience - unions, settlements, enquiries, inspections
• Hands-on Spine HRMS (or similar) payroll experience preferred
• Execution-first mindset; sets up systems and makes them stick

Responsibilities

• Lead HR operations across HO, plants, depots and sales regions: policies, SOPs, employee lifecycle and manpower planning.
• Maintain harmonious industrial relations at all plants; handle worker committees / unions, wage settlements, discipline and domestic enquiries.
• Ensure 100% statutory compliance under the new Labour Codes, PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, Bonus, Gratuity, Maternity Benefit, S&E and POSH; manage inspections and audits.
• Govern contract labour: contractor licences, wage / PF / ESIC verification and principal-employer obligations.
• Build a volume hiring engine for plant workforce and field sales (SO / TSI / ASM), and close leadership and specialist roles.
• Run goal setting, annual appraisals, calibration and field-force incentive schemes; build succession for critical roles.
• Drive engagement and retention for shop floor, field and office teams; reduce field-sales attrition.
• Own accurate, on-time payroll for 2,000+ employees and our Spine HRMS (attendance, leave, payroll, ESS, field attendance).
• Present a monthly HR dashboard to the Directors: headcount, attrition, cost, absenteeism and hiring.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 10+ years of progressive HR experience
• Must have: multi-location manufacturing HR (2+ plants, 1,000+ workforce including contract labour).
• Must have: hands‑on labour law and IR experience - unions, settlements, enquiries, inspections.
• Hands‑on experience with Spine HRMS (or a similar HRMS / payroll platform) preferred.
• Execution‑first and high‑agency: sets up systems personally and makes them stick.
• Languages: English and Hindi essential, Marathi.
