Job summary

Alpine Pharma is seeking a Network Support Engineer to maintain and troubleshoot our networking infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance for LAN/WAN.

You will monitor routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices, respond to outages, and assist in network upgrades and disaster recovery planning. Strong analytical skills and CCNA/Network+ are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Application or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in network support or network administration.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF).
• Hands-on experience with network hardware (Cisco, SonicWall, Sophos, D-link routers, etc.).
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools
• Experience with VPNs, firewalls, and remote access tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred Certifications: CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent.
• Exposure to a broad range of IT infrastructure and technologies

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
• Collaborate with IT and system administrators to support server and application performance.
• Document network issues, resolutions, and create knowledgebase articles.
• Participate in network upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery planning.
• Stay updated with emerging network technologies and recommend improvements.
