Job summary

Gebbs Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer / IT Support Executive in Hyderabad (HITEC City) to provide hands-on technical support for desktops and laptops. You will install hardware and software, manage antivirus, support OS and client apps, and handle tickets in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.

The candidate should have 1–2 years of experience, 12th plus IT certification or diploma, and strong communication and problem-solving skills to maintain system reliability and user

Qualifications

• 12th with IT diploma/certification or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in desktop support or IT support.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure hardware and software systems, including bay management.
• Maintain, repair and troubleshoot computers and laptops.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and system-related issues.
• Configure and maintain antivirus and basic computer security measures.
• Configure computer networks and connectivity on desktops/laptops.
• Provide technical support through the helpdesk/ticketing system.
• Escalate major or unresolved issues to the appropriate team within the defined TAT.
• Ensure timely closure of tickets within the agreed TAT.
• Provide support for operating systems, basic software, antivirus and client applications.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting deadlines and priorities.

Shift : Night Shift

Competency:

• Knowledge: Computer hardware, laptops, antivirus, operating systems, software and basic troubleshooting.
• Behaviour: Good communication and interpersonal skills with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
• Qualification: 12th + relevant certification / Diploma in IT or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum 1–2 years of experience in desktop support, IT support or a similar role.

Job Responsibilities:
