Job summary

Tetr College Of Business in Gurugram seeks a Lead Finance to own and drive financial controllership and accounting operations for a fast-growing organization. You will ensure accuracy, integrity and timeliness of financial activities while building scalable processes.

You will oversee bookkeeping, GL, reconciliations, cash-flow management, and compliance with GST/TDS. This role reports to senior leadership and requires strong ERP and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• CA qualification with post-qualification experience in Finance/Controllership
• Experience with GST, TDS, taxation, statutory compliance and audits
• Experience preparing MIS, financial statements, and variance analysis
• Strong internal controls, accounting processes, SOPs, and governance
• Experience in high-growth startup/education/tech/corporate environments preferred
• Proficiency in Excel and ERP/accounting systems

Responsibilities

• Oversee bookkeeping, GL, reconciliations, balance sheet, financial reporting, and accounting controls
• Lead Accounts Payable & Receivables including vendor management, invoicing, payments, aging, reimbursements, reconciliations
• Ensure cash-flow management, working capital, payments and expense control
• Drive GST, TDS, income tax, statutory compliances and audit coordination
• Own MIS, management reporting, dashboards, variance analysis and performance tracking
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cost optimization and financial planning
• Lead and mentor Finance/AP & AR team; drive accountability and execution
• Strengthen finance processes, SOPs, internal controls, governance and automation
• Partner with senior leadership on financial analysis, business decisions and cost management
• Build scalable finance processes to support Masters Union’s growth

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Finance who will own and drive the organization's financial controllership and accounting operations. The role will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial operations while building scalable processes and controls for a fast-growing organisation.

Specifically,this role will involve

• Overseeing bookkeeping, GL, reconciliations, balance sheet, financial reporting, and accounting controls.


• Leading Accounts Payable & Receivables, including vendor management, invoice processing, payments, ageing, reimbursements, and reconciliations.


• Ensuring effective cash-flow, working capital, payment, and expense management.


• Driving GST, TDS, income tax, statutory compliances, and audit coordination with internal/external stakeholders.


• Owning MIS, management reporting, dashboards, variance analysis, and financial performance tracking.


• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, cost optimization, and financial planning.


• Leading, mentoring, and managing the Finance/AP & AR team, driving accountability and execution excellence.


• Strengthening finance processes, SOPs, internal controls, governance, and automation across the function.


• Partnering with senior leadership on financial analysis, business decisions, cost management, and commercial evaluation.


• Building scalable finance processes to support Masters Unions growth and evolving business requirements

Ideal candidate will have

• Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory. Post-qualification experience in Finance/Controllership/Accounting.


• Good exposure to GST, TDS, taxation, statutory compliance, and audits.


• Experience in preparing and reviewing MIS, financial statements, management reports, and variance analysis.


• Strong understanding of internal controls, accounting processes, SOPs, and financial governance.


• Experience working in a high-growth startup, education, technology, consulting, or corporate environment will be preferred.


• Strong proficiency in Excel and ERP/accounting systems.


• Strong analytical, stakeholder-management, communication, and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to be hands-on, process-oriented, and comfortable managing both strategy and day-to-day finance operations.
