• Gather data, identify weak structures and prepare rehabilitation estimates with Section Head.
• Execute maintenance of township buildings and critical services like water, sanitation and drainage.
• Monitor and supervise painting, carpentry, masonry, plumbing and sanitation works.
• Assist in development plans like parks, hostels, guest house, gym and mess.
• Assist in Civil Projects & Schemes and Improvement Projects as needed.
• Forecast and present rehabilitation expenditure with Section Head to control costs.
• Timely update all documents of the section.
• Adhere to Safety, Sustainability and IMS/ISO compliance.
• Maintain a congenial work culture through effective communication with workers.

Job description

1- Plant Maintece:

Execute the maintece activities of Civil Infrastructure for the entire plant. Implement daily maintece jobs for stability of buildings, structures and other infrastructure. Inform superior for technical requirements and order placements. Check contractor bills for correctness. Follow up with Stores & Purchase for timely availability of required items. Gather data, identify weak structures of buildings and prepare estimate for the rehabilitation work in consultation with the Section Head. Supervise the jobs for timely completion, measuring the quantum of work, etc

2- Townships Management:

Execute maintece activities of the buildings, structures & other required infrastructure of township. Maintece of critical services like water supply, sanitary and drainage system to the residents as and when required. Monitor and execute jobs done by workers on maintece services like painting, carpentry, masonry, plumbing and sanitation. Assist and work on improvement plans like development and beautification of parks hostels, guest house, gymnasium, mess etc

3- Civil Projects & Schemes (If Any) & Improvement Projects:

Assist in execution of Civil Projects & Schemes

4- Cost Control:

Forecast & present rehabilitation expenditure for the assigned area in consultation with Section Head so as to control the cost of maintece

5- Reports and Documentation:

Timely update all documents of the section

6- System Management (Safety, Sustainability):

Adhere to statutory compliance related to Safety, Health and Environment & Sustainability and systems like IMS and ISO

7- People Development:

Maintain a congenial work culture by effective communication with workmen both permanent & contractual
