Job summary

Sudarshan Chemical in Maharashtra seeks a Deputy Manager / Manager Civil to plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance for civil infrastructure at the plant. The role ensures equipment readiness and continuous plant operations, coordinating with contractors and vendors for maintenance and project work.

The candidate will monitor schedules, perform RCA to prevent recurrence, manage AMC renewals and budgets, and lead civil projects including new production lines and ETP installations,

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance activities for civil infrastructure at the plant.
• Ensure timely maintenance, equipment readiness, and availability of civil infrastructure to support uninterrupted plant operations.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for civil maintenance, repairs, and project execution.
• Monitor maintenance schedules, identify recurring issues, and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to prevent recurrence.
• Manage AMC renewals, maintenance budgets, and engineering stores inventory.
• Plan and execute civil projects related to new production lines, capacity expansion, and ETP installations.
• Prepare CAPEX proposals, cost estimates, BOQs, and project budgets.
• Monitor project progress, quality, safety, timelines, and cost effectiveness.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and reduction of production losses.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, ISO/IMS requirements, ESG guidelines, and applicable safety regulations.
• Lead and develop the civil team to achieve operational and project objectives.
