Job summary

Captain Tractors in India seeks a skilled Civil Maintenance professional to oversee maintenance across plant and facility areas, plan preventive and predictive upkeep, inspect buildings, roads and RCC structures, and coordinate with contractors to ensure timely, safe repairs.

You will manage BOQ and cost estimates, supervise carpentry, plumbing and electrical activities, drive cost optimization, maintain records, and support expansion and infrastructure projects while adhering to safety

Responsibilities

• Manage civil maintenance, repair and renovation activities across plant and facility areas.
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of civil infrastructure.
• Inspect and maintain buildings, roofs, flooring, RCC structures, roads, drains, foundations and boundary walls.
• Handle masonry, plastering, concreting, waterproofing, painting, flooring and other civil works.
• Manage plumbing, sewage, drainage, rainwater and water supply systems.
• Supervise carpentry and electrical maintenance activities and ensure timely resolution of facility-related issues.
• Coordinate with civil, plumbing, carpentry and electrical contractors, vendors and service agencies.
• Prepare BOQ, cost estimates, material requirements and work schedules for maintenance projects.
• Monitor contractor manpower, material consumption, work progress and quality and verify completed work and bills.
• Plan and execute CAPEX/OPEX maintenance projects within approved budgets and timelines.
• Coordinate with EHS, Production, Projects, Mechanical, Electrical and Administration teams for facility requirements.
• Support plant expansion, modification, layout changes and infrastructure projects.
• Review civil drawings, layouts and structural details and coordinate with consultants.
• Conduct regular inspections and identify structural, maintenance and safety risks.
• Maintain maintenance records, work orders, inspection reports and asset documentation.
• Drive cost optimization, preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure safety standards, housekeeping and proper work practices at all maintenance locations.
