Job summary

Euro India Fresh Foods Limited seeks a maintenance lead to coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance of boilers, DG sets, air compressors and utility lines. You will supervise maintenance staff, install and commission new equipment, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

You will monitor maintenance performance, optimize costs, manage spare parts and inventory, and drive continuous improvement across the plant’s utilities and services.

• Direct and coordinate maintenance workers.
• Ensure optimum support to production for utilities availability.
• Maintain boilers, DG sets, air compressors, water supply lines.
• Maintain job history cards for all equipment.
• Ensure maintenance of pressure vessels and lifting tools.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new machines.
• Coordinate with Boiler inspectorate for operating certificates.
• Monitor and analyze preventive maintenance reports and resource usage.
• Review daily breakdown reports and take corrective actions.
• Plan and implement methods to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance in maintenance activities.
• Prepare monthly reports and update records.
• Maintain spare parts inventory.
• Execute all engineering projects and maintenance contracts.
• Develop vendors for spares and contractors.
• Identify training needs for team.
• Oversee maintenance activities and schedules.
• Motivate the team and ensure adherence to budgets.
• Control annual maintenance schedule and safety of personnel and facilities.
• Maintain procurement of spare parts inventory and budgeted manpower.
• Implement safety systems in plant area and environmental compliance.
• Initiate small group activities and continuous improvements.
• Analyze instrument readings and defects, repair defects.

Job description

1. Coordinate for activities related to Preventive Maintenance and Planned Maintenance schedules of complete Utility Section.

2. Directs and coordinates activities of workers engaged in preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, scheduled maintenance and breakdown maintenance

3. Responsible for full providing optimum support to production department towards availability of utilities

4. Responsible for trouble free operation & maintenance of Boiler, Diesel Generator Sets, Air Compressors, Water Supply lines.

5. Maintains job history cards for all equipment's in the section

6. Ensures the maintenance of pressure vessels, lifting tools and tackles

7. Assists in installation and commissioning of new machines and equipments

8. Coordinates with Boiler inspectorate and ensure availability of operational certificate for operation of boiler and pressure lines in power plant

9. Monitors and analyzes reports on preventive maintenance; conditioning monitoring; resource consumption

10. Reviews and analyzes daily breakdown reports and takes corrective actions, wherever necessary

11. Plans, develops, and implements new methods and procedures designed to improve operational efficiency, minimize operating costs, and optimal utilization of labour and materials

12. Ensure adherence to safety and environmental norms in carrying out maintenance activities.

26. Overall responsibility for all maintenance activities including annual maintenance contracts

27. Direct responsibility to implement the safety systems in the plant area as well as environment.

28. Direct responsibility for initiating small group activities & continuous improvements.
