Job summary

Paras Health is seeking a Billing Executive to manage OPD billing and related financial activities in an Indian hospital setting. The role involves preparing bills, collecting consultation fees, generating receipts in the Hospital Management System (HMS), and verifying patient details before billing.

You will handle cash, card, UPI, and other payment methods, process cancellations and refunds as per policy, and coordinate with doctors and departments regarding consultation charges.

Job description

1. Preparing OPD bills for patient consultations.
2. Collecting consultation fees and other applicable charges.
3. Generating bills and receipts in the Hospital Management System (HMS).
4. Verifying patient details before billing.
5. Processing cash, card, UPI, and other accepted payment methods.
6. Handling billing cancellations, refunds, and corrections as per hospital policy.
7. Coordinating with doctors and departments regarding consultation charges.
8. Providing patients with information about billing and payment procedures.
9. Maintaining daily cash collection records.
10. Preparing daily billing and collection reports.
11. Ensuring billing accuracy and proper documentation.
12. Coordinating with the accounts department for cash reconciliation.
