Job summary

Virinchi Health Care in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced billing professional to manage cash billing, corporate and PSU billing, and insurance/TPA billing while ensuring compliance with hospital SOPs.

You will coordinate with wards, OT, pharmacy, and lab to ensure accurate charges, manage deposits and refunds, and handle follow-ups on outstanding payments for corporates and PSUs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare OP, IP, and emergency bills for self-paying patients
• Collect payments (cash, card, UPI) and issue receipts
• Handle deposits, advances, refunds, and day-end cash reconciliation
• Bill patients under empanelled corporates and PSUs at correct tariff or package rates
• Verify referral letters, authorisation or approval letters, and employee or beneficiary ID before admission and procedures
• Apply correct package rates, exclusions, and sub-limits per the tie-up agreement
• Prepare, compile, and submit monthly credit bills with all supporting documents
• Follow up on outstanding corporate and PSU payments and resolve deductions
• Initiate pre-authorisations and enhancements, and coordinate with TPA and insurer desks
• Prepare final bills and discharge documents, and submit claims within the TAT
• Handle co-pay, non-payable items, and patient-payable splits
• Resolve claim queries, rejections, and short payments
• Ensure all charges are captured accurately (consumables, procedures, consultations) by coordinating with wards, OT, pharmacy, and lab
• Keep records audit-ready and follow hospital billing SOPs
• Escalate disputes, tariff mismatches, and delayed approvals promptly

• Prepare, compile, and submit monthly credit bills with all supporting documents

Insurance/TPA billing
