Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Front Line Manager - HRO - Payroll & Benefits in a hybrid role based in India. You will lead end-to-end payroll operations, ensure timely payroll closures, and coordinate with multiple teams to align payroll with cross-functional impacts.

The role requires strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax compliance, and mentoring a payroll team. A CEBS/PHR credential is beneficial. Hybrid work model and global-scale exposure offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degrees in Commerce, Economics, or Finance.
• Masters in Business Administration or Business Analytics.
• CEBS or PHR certifications are listed in the job specs.

• Lead end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely payroll closure.
• Review payroll-related taxes and oversee monthly tax filings in compliance with statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with the Banking team to ensure timely funding for salary disbursements and tax payments.
• Manage payroll activities including monthly variance analysis and account reconciliations.
• Provide necessary documentation and support for internal and external audits.
• Mentor and guide the payroll team to optimize performance and ensure process efficiency.

Job Description

Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely payroll closure. Review payroll-related taxes and oversee monthly tax filings in compliance with statutory requirements. Coordinate with the Banking team to ensure timely funding for salary disbursements and tax payments. Manage payroll activities including monthly variance analysis and account reconciliations. Provide necessary documentation and support for internal and external audits. Maintain strong communication and collaboration with Hiring, C&B, HR, and Accounting teams to align payroll operations with cross-functional impacts. Mentor and guide the payroll team to optimize performance and ensure process efficiency.
