Job summary

Genpact in Pune, India, is looking for a Front Line Manager - HRO - Payroll & Benefits to lead end-to-end payroll operations, ensure accurate monthly closures, and supervise payroll-related tax filings.

You will mentor the payroll team, coordinate with Hiring, C&B, HR, and Accounting to align processes with cross-functional impacts, and provide documentation for audits while driving efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degrees in Commerce/Economics/Finance or MBAs as listed in the qualifications.
• Certifications CEBS and PHR are preferred.
• Experience with payroll systems and tax compliance is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll operations and monthly closures.
• Review payroll-related taxes and oversee tax filings.
• Coordinate with Banking team for salary funding and tax payments.
• Manage payroll activities including variance analysis and reconciliations.

Review payroll-related taxes and oversee monthly tax filings in compliance with statutory requirements. Coordinate with the Banking team to ensure timely funding for salary disbursements and tax payments. Manage payroll activities including monthly variance analysis and account reconciliations. Provide necessary documentation and support for internal and external audits. Maintain strong communication and collaboration with Hiring, C&B, HR, and Accounting teams to align payroll operations with cross-functional impacts. Mentor and guide the payroll team to optimize performance and ensure process efficiency.
