Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Front Line Manager for HRO - Payroll & Benefits in Bengaluru. Lead end-to-end payroll operations, ensure accurate monthly closures, and oversee tax filings in line with statutory requirements.

Collaborate with Hiring, C&B, HR, and Accounting teams to align payroll with cross-functional impacts. You will mentor the payroll team to optimize performance and drive process efficiency while coordinating with the Banking team for timely salary disbursements and tax payments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in commerce, economics, finance, or MBA/analytics.
• Professional certifications in payroll/benefits are a plus (e.g., CEBS, PH R).
• Experience in global payroll processes and tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll operations with timely monthly closure.
• Review payroll taxes and oversee monthly tax filings per statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with Banking team for salary disbursement funding and tax payments.
• Manage payroll activities including monthly variance analysis and account reconciliations.
• Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits.
• Mentor payroll team to improve performance and process efficiency.
