Job summary

Maxx Solutions Brokerage in Gurugram, India is seeking an experienced Freight Broker to manage end-to-end US freight brokerage operations. You will build shipper and carrier relationships, source rates, and oversee the load lifecycle from booking to delivery.

This full-time role requires 27+ years in US Freight Brokerage/Trucking, strong negotiation, knowledge of DAT/Truckstop and TMS/CRM tools, and excellent English communication in a fast-paced environment. US shift IST night shift.

Qualifications

• 27+ years of experience in US Freight Brokerage / Trucking / Logistics preferred.
• Strong understanding of OTR, Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed, Box Truck, Sprinter Van, and other equipment types.
• Knowledge of US lanes, major freight markets, and trucking terminology.
• Experience with DAT, Truckstop, TMS, CRM, and other logistics platforms.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and perform under pressure.
• Strong Excel and computer skills.
• Good written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new shipper/customer accounts through prospecting, cold calling, email, and other channels.
• Source, qualify, and negotiate rates with reliable motor carriers.
• Manage the complete load lifecycle from booking to delivery.
• Negotiate profitable buy and sell rates while maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Post and manage loads through DAT, Truckstop, and other load boards.
• Verify carrier authority, insurance, safety, equipment, and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with carriers, drivers, shippers, and internal operations teams.
• Track shipments and proactively communicate pickup, transit, and delivery updates.
• Resolve service issues, delays, rate disputes, and operational challenges.
• Maintain accurate load information, customer records, carrier information, and documentation.
• Meet individual and team sales, margin, and load-volume targets.
• Develop long-term relationships with both shippers and carriers.
