Job summary

Segula Technologies India seeks a seasoned Design Engineer to join the FoE - Program Management team in Chennai. The role demands at least 10 years of professional experience and a Bachelor degree, with strong working knowledge of Ford change control systems and BOM-related processes in automotive engineering.

You will lead BOM structuring, change management, and P-Release activities, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate with Engineering, Finance, HWIM, and Purchasing while maintaining

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of Ford change control systems and terminology (WERS, FEDEBOM, BOM, CMM, PDL, EDMS, MMA, NTEI).
• Experience in Bill of Material structuring, change management, or P-Release processes within an automotive/engineering environment.
• Strong analytical skills to investigate BoM errors, perform root-cause analysis, and translate insights into recommendations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills across Engineering, Finance, HWIM, and Purchasing.
• High attention to detail for financial audit control, quality checks, and ISO/EDMS compliance documentation.
• Ability to work to strict cadences and deadlines, providing mutual cover with peers for CMM and related meetings.
