Job summary

Godrej Properties in Mumbai seeks a senior Project Manager with a civil engineering/interior design background to lead large-scale luxury residential and hospitality projects. You will supervise finishers, mentor teams, and coordinate with design, quality, procurement, logistics and operations to drive on-time, on-budget delivery.

You will ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while managing costs and reporting progress.

Team Management

• Recruit, hire, and train finishers to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to the team.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Project Management

• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and allocating resources effectively.
• Assist to Develop and implement detailed project schedules and budgets.
• Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure timely completion.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as design, quality, procurement, logistics, and operations, to ensure smooth project execution.

Quality Assurance

• Maintain rigorous quality control standards.
• Inspect/facilitate to inspect finished work to ensure it meets specifications and company requirements.
• Identify and resolve quality issues promptly.

Financial Management

• Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Stakeholder Relations

• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
• Resolve stakeholder issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner.

Safety and Compliance

• Graduate Civil Engineering/Interior Design/Architecture.

Experience:

• 15 25 Years Experience in Construction Industry with over 15 years. Proven experience in local market, Architectural, Interior, Landscape Finishes, Fit-out and FF&E.
• Proven experience in handling Projects (Luxury Residential, Hospitality, Private Villas) from inception to DLC (Defect Liability Completion)

• Strong understanding of construction techniques and materials.
