Job summary

RPG Group is seeking a Senior Construction finishes supervisor to oversee all architectural and finishing works at the project site, ensuring adherence to drawings, specs, and safety norms. You will coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality finishes on schedule.

The role requires 8–10 years of hands-on experience in finishing works for high-rise or large-scale projects, with strong capabilities in planning, coordination, and quality

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in finishing works for high-rise or large projects.
• Experience in managing subcontractors and multiple finishing activities.
• Exposure to premium interior finishes and architectural works preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor finishing activities including plastering, flooring, tiling, false ceiling, painting, waterproofing, glazing, cladding, joinery, aluminum works, and interior fit-outs.
• Coordinate with civil, MEP, and architectural teams to ensure seamless execution of finishing activities.
• Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and quality standards.
• Prepare weekly and monthly work plans and monitor progress.
• Maintain daily progress reports and material reconciliation statements.
• Close snags and ensure timely handover and client satisfaction.

Job description

The role involves coordinating with subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders to achieve high-quality project finishes.

Key Responsibilities

Execution & Supervision

• Execute and monitor all finishing activities including plastering, flooring, tiling, false ceiling, painting, waterproofing, glazing, cladding, joinery, aluminum works, and interior fit-outs.
• Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with civil, MEP, and architectural teams to ensure seamless execution of finishing activities.
• Monitor site progress and ensure timely completion of milestones.

Quality Management

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship meets project and client standards.
• Identify quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams for inspections and approvals.
• Ensure mock-ups and sample approvals are obtained before commencement of works.

Planning & Coordination

• Prepare weekly and monthly work plans based on project schedules.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, and clients regarding design clarifications and site issues.
• Ensure material availability and monitor consumption to prevent wastage.
• Participate in project review meetings and provide progress updates.
• Supervise subcontractors and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
• Verify quantities executed and certify contractor bills.
• Monitor productivity and resource deployment by contractors.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and company safety policies.
• Conduct toolbox talks and promote safe work practices.
• Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained in work areas.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily progress reports, work records, and material reconciliation statements.
• Track snag lists, punch points, and closure status.
• Assist in preparation of as-built drawings and project handover documents.
• Completion of finishing works within approved timelines.
• Achievement of desired quality benchmarks and client satisfaction.
• Effective coordination between civil, MEP, and finishing teams.
• Closure of snags and successful handover of project areas.
• Optimal utilization of materials and resources.

Educational Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering
• Diploma in Civil Engineering (for experienced candidates with strong project exposure)

Experience Required

• 8-10 years of experience in execution of finishing works for high-rise residential, commercial, industrial, hospitality, data center, or infrastructure projects.
• Experience in managing subcontractors and multiple finishing activities simultaneously.
• Exposure to premium interior finishes and architectural works preferred.
