Job summary

Godrej Properties is seeking a Civil Engineer with 9+ years of experience in high-rise residential projects to lead finishing works and ensure premium quality across handovers. The role requires coordinating with multiple teams, supervising contractors, and driving snag closure to deliver defect-free apartments.

You will prepare execution plans, monitor progress, and participate in pre-handover inspections, while ensuring safety and compliance with drawings and standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage snag closure and punch list before handover.

• Prepare weekly and monthly execution plans and progress reports.

Role & responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor all finishing activities as per approved project schedules.
• Ensure timely completion of internal and external finishing works.
• Coordinate with Civil, MEP, Faade, Landscaping, and allied teams for smooth execution.
• Monitor daily site progress and resolve execution-related challenges.
• Ensure superior quality and workmanship across all finishing activities.
• Conduct quality inspections and implement corrective actions as required.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Manage snag closure and punch point rectification before handover.
• Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and finishing vendors.
• Monitor productivity, workmanship quality, and resource deployment.
• Verify contractor bills based on work completion.
• Ensure timely availability of materials in coordination with procurement teams.
• Prepare weekly and monthly execution plans.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, structural engineers, and MEP teams.
• Track project milestones and proactively mitigate delays.
• Participate in pre-handover inspections and customer possession activities.
• Coordinate closure of customer observations and defects.
• Ensure apartments are delivered with minimum defects and high-quality finishes.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and statutory requirements.
• Promote safe working practices across site activities.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Maintain project documentation and quality records.
• Identify project risks and recommend mitigation measures.

Preferred candidate profile

Civil Engineer with 9+ years of experience in high-rise residential projects, specializing in finishing works, quality management, contractor coordination, snag closure, and apartment handovers. Experience with premium residential developers is highly preferred.
