Job summary

Job Title: Finacle L2 Support Engineer
Experience: 5-8 Years

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Finacle L2 Support Engineer to provide production support for Finacle Core Banking Solutions (CBS). The role involves handling escalated incidents, performing root cause analysis, monitoring BOD/EOD processes, supporting integrations, and ensuring system stability and SLA compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L2 support for Finacle CBS modules, including CASA, Loans, Deposits, Trade Finance, Treasury, CRM, and GL.
• Resolve incidents and service requests escalated from L1 within defined SLAs.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent solutions for recurring issues.
• Monitor and support Beginning-of-Day (BOD) and End-of-Day (EOD) batch processes.
• Support integrations with ATM/switch, UPI, IMPS, NEFT, RTGS, internet banking, and mobile banking.
• Execute SQL queries and scripts for data analysis, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Handle Finacle configurations, master data changes, user access, and parameter setups.
• Coordinate with L3 and Infosys support teams for defect fixes, patches, and upgrades.
• Support UAT, regression testing, and production deployments.
• Follow ITIL processes for incident, problem, change, and release management.
• Maintain documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and SLA reports.
• Support audits, regulatory compliance, DR drills, and rotational/on-call shifts.

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Finacle Core Banking Solution (Version 10.x/11.x or later).
• Strong knowledge of Finacle architecture, menus, functional workflows, and customization.
• Proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux commands and shell scripting.
• Experience with batch scheduling and job monitoring.
• Familiarity with WebLogic, JBoss, or similar application servers.
• Knowledge of ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or Jira.
• Understanding of ITIL processes and banking operations.
• Knowledge of payment systems and regulatory reporting.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Education:

• Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
