Job summary

Indus Towers in Delhi is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of telecom tower sites, ensuring maximum uptime and reliable services.

You will diagnose faults, manage energy use, supervise partner technicians, and document site performance while coordinating with area operations for escalations. Willingness to travel to tower sites and work in outdoor conditions is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunications Engineering.
• 28 years of experience in telecom infrastructure operations & maintenance.
• Tower site exposure preferred.
• Certifications in safety or electrical standards preferred.
• Strong communication and team supervision skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of telecom tower sites to ensure uptime.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in electrical, electronic, and telecom systems at sites.
• Monitor energy usage and implement efficiency measures to reduce costs.
• Ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance during site activities.
• Supervise partner technicians and validate their work quality.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance, site performance, and faults.
• Coordinate with Area Operations Manager for escalations and reporting.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment or upgrades.
• Respond to emergencies and restore services within SLAs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment or upgrades at tower sites.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and restore services within defined SLAs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunications Engineering.
• Experience: 28 years in telecom infrastructure operations & maintenance, preferably with tower site exposure.
